Welcome to the Borough of Wrightsville, York County, Pennsylvania. Our historic town is located along the western banks of the Susquehanna River in the Susquehanna Valley Region of Pennsylvania and is well known for the burning of the bridge during the Civil War in 1863.

   Wrightsville Borough has declared a snow emergency. The snow emergency is in effect as of Wednesday March 4, 2015 at 8:00 PM until Thursday March 5, 2015 at 5 PM.  Vehicles must be removed from the snow emergency route or they may be ticketed and towed. The police department will not issue warnings. The snow emergency was declared to help ensure the safety of the community by allowing plows to clear the streets. Residents with questions should contact Wrightsville Borough at 252-2768 between the hours of 9 AM and 2 PM or, preferably, visit the borough website @ Vehicles may not be parked in the wrong direction and must be parked along the curb and out of the roadway. Driveways may become blocked during snowplowing operations. Crews cannot go back to clear blocked driveways. Please wait to clear driveways at street side until plowing is completed. Do not pile snow back into the cleared street. It is a violation of borough ordinances to throw, deposit or shovel snow onto streets and alleys. Note that after any significant snowfall, you must remove snow and ice from walkways within 24 hours.

The regular monthly meeting of the Borough Council for the Borough of Wrightsville shall be held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm, providing it is not a legal holiday. The planning meetings of the same governing body shall be held on the third Monday of every month at 4:00 pm. All meetings are held in Council Chambers located at 601 Water Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368.
